This web design process is all about information-gathering. This step is important for us to understand more about your business and industry, your target market and customers, and the ultimate goal for your website.
To help us gather more information, you’ll be given a web design brief form to fill up.
The planning phase of our website design includes 3 basic tasks:
- Review an SEO Strategy – this is only applicable if you’ve also engaged us to do your SEO.
- Sitemap Creation – A sitemap is essentially an outline of the structure of the pages that will comprise the website.
- Content Review & Development – The last part of the website planning process includes an in-depth review of the website content. Unless you’ve engaged us to do the copywriting, you’re responsible in giving us the contents of your website.
The third step of the web design process is to design how your website will look. In this step, a website mockup is created with basic web page elements such as the header, navigation, widgets, etc.
At this phase, the website design is translated to actual code that makes the website work. This stage will take up the most time, so please be patient with us.
It’s Launch Time!
Once you approve of the web design changes, we’re ready to show off your kick-awesome website to the world!
This last and final step of web design is often overlooked by freelancers or inexperience web designers, but ongoing website maintenance is important for the long-term health and success of a website. All our web design packages comes with one year free version updates and upgrades of the core files and plugins, if any.
After one year, there’ll be a $150/year (optional) maintenance fees to keep your CMS updated and upgraded to the latest version. Although this is not mandatory, we strongly encourage all clients to do so to keep their site healthy and minimise their risk of being hacked.
